Hug those babies, Diane
2008
Hi Friends,
I started
this website actively last summer. I'm keeping some notes from earlier that are still pertinent.
I am being interviewed on a NYC radio station a few times and you can access it on the web if you are interested.

Dear Friends,
Exciting days since I last wrote. Seven
babies in August. One early September then off to the Lamaze conference and more births as soon as I returned. The one in
early September was 9# 2oz., almost two pounds bigger than her previous babies. They own some Lil Caesar's and no one could
believe she had that big a baby without drugs or tearing and dad helped deliver in their oversize bathtub!
The Lamaze conference was fun and stressful too. Caesarian rate up to 32% overall now and some hospitals are topping 50%.
Our
maternal death rate has risen every year for the last five! I feel sure this is due in large part to the use of
Cytotec; see my news/alert page.
I also met many wonderful people who are making a difference.
Look for two films to be coming out hopefully in the near future. One is Steve Buonaugurio's
Pregnant In America and
the other is Rikki Lake's
The Business Of Being Born. Both are wonderful and very eye-opening for the average
person.
I met some wonderful artisans and many great people have websites that are complementary
to this one. I am starting a resource page with a brief description and links.
I'm understanding
more how much homeopathy can positively impact birth for women in hospital too and will be writing in more places and teaching
about this. Soon I will add the article from the second book here. Homeopathy is inexpensive, safe and without any negative
side effects for mom or baby. For now you can e-mail if you have a question.
Towards better birth
for everyone,

Dear Friends,
Busy days continue with two first babies so far this
month. Both girls, 8# 2oz. and a whopping 8# 11oz. Both born without tears and moms and babies doing well.
I have exciting news in soon having the labor stimulation formula available for people who want to try it. This has worked
with most of my women with 75% going into labor within three days and 90% by a week. I don't use it before term and usually
start with evening primrose first. See my article here. 41% of women in the US currently have their labors induced with Pitocin
or the more dangerous Cytotec-see my news/alert page. An additional 34% get Pitocin during labor to speed things up especially
when an epidural has slowed things down. Homeopathy causes a perfectly normal labor without the extra strong contractions
of Pitocin. It is safe, inexpensive and available over the counter in most health food stores.
My other news is far more disturbing and I hope to get the full article in my news/alert section soon but babies and my family
taking a lot right now. Most of you have probably seen the commercials for
Gardisil, the supposed vaccine
for HPV and by insinuation the easily treated cervical cancer. It is being very heavily promoted in the media and some are
working hard to make it mandatory for young women. What you won't see in these commercials and campaigns are the ugly facts.
As of July 2007, there have been
2,207 reported adverse incidents including five! deaths.
Between March and May 2007 Gardisil alone was 20% of all reported vaccine injuries. Please do your research before you allow
your healthy daughters to become guinea pigs in another vast experiment. Cancer takes 15-20 years to develop and if you listen
to the commercials they say it
may protect against it. Cervical cancer is fortunately easily detected with
routine Pap tests and can be treated simply as well.
Enjoy your loved ones and remember
how precious is our time together.

Hi Visitors,
I had an exciting and busy November. The best news
is my daughter had her baby November 24th. A 7# 15oz. boy, Wyatt Earl. Her whole labor was only 4 hours and 15 minutes for
a first baby and we were all amazed and delighted. I'll be adding pictures to my site soon.
The Gardisil alert is finally on the site and a new birth story. There is a heading for birth story titles; this is the place
to see the dates they were added if you want to just read new ones.
I hope you all get
to have wonderful times with family and loved ones this holiday season.
Praying for Peace, Diane

Happy New Year Friends,
Pictures of my grandson are now here. Instead
of a story this month it's an article on Kids At Birth. Unfortunately the
Gardisil situation is worsening
with
three more deaths in August and the
reported adverse event number went to 3,779.
In July and August, Gardisil alone was 28% and 26% of reported adverse events for all vaccinations.
Here's to a healthy and happy year for all!

Dear Visitors,
My youngest daughter's
birthday is today and she's nineteen. New pictures of her and Wyatt as well as others are in the picture section. She was
an unassisted waterbirth and the story is, All In A Day's Work.
I've added a page about my midwifery
care, Gentle Birth Services.

Hi Friends,
Well I had the first Leap baby in my years of practice
and another birth yesterday, a 9# 2oz. boy born with only eight minutes of pushing thanks to homeopathic belladonna.
The
Doula article is now here to read.

Hi friends,
My oldest son turned 32 yesterday and how the years fly. A
new short story, Double Victory Night, is on the site and more is coming soon.
I hope you will
take literally just a minute of your time to sign this petition to keep our freedom to birth where we choose.
www.ipetitions.com/petition/birthathome?e If you've been aware of the news lately, Rikki Lake's film, The Business of Being Born, has sparked a furious response
from the American College Of Obstetricians and Gynecologist's. They say of course that she's no expert and it's pushing them
to try and outlaw homebirth. There is a story in my first book, Tree Of Life: Stories Of Birth, where the police showed up
to force a woman in my care to go to the hospital. It is not an isolated incident just as court ordered Caesarians are not.
Birth is one of the biggest moneymakers any hospital has and they won't give it up easily. Consumers are the only ones who
have the power to change it with their choices. Please add your voice.
Keeping strong, Diane
